Lunar Ceremony Cuff

Lunar Ceremony Cuff

$235.00

A solid Sterling Crescent Moon was first carved from wax and individually sand cast to create lunar texture in each Moon, while still keeping them one of a kind. A star is then hand etched into the front of the Moon, on a split shank cuff band forged to fit the wearers size. It also comes in matte gray or shiny silver finish, determining if your going for the the bright; or dark side of the Moon.

The moon has been an important source of symbolism and mythology throughout history. It is a celestial body that illuminates the night sky while its waxing and waning phases provide light and darkness. This dichotomy of light and dark is reflected in many cultures’ interpretations of the moon, with most viewing it as representing duality, renewal, and change. The moon is often seen as a symbol of transformation, linked to the idea that by observing its phases, one can gain insight into their own life and the changes that come with it.

“Art thou pale for weariness
Of climbing Heaven, and gazing on the earth,
Wandering companionless
Among the stars that have a different birth,—
And ever changing, like a joyless eye
That finds no object worth its constancy?” -Percy Shelley
